There are dozens of versatile multimedia notebooks in the price range of around 800 € and many graphics cards have surprisingly efficient. To better assess the performance of the Geforce GT 130M we compared with the new GeForce 240M GT and Radeon HD 4650 the most widespread.
As one would expect, the older games are not a problem for the GT 130M. We ran the benchmarks with high detail and a resolution of 1024 x 768. CSS has allowed a stratospheric value of 207.3 fps while a HL 2, while excellent, 125.6 fps. The results were similar with the Geforce GT 204m.
Call of Juarez is another matter. The N51V limps with an average of 11.4 fps at 1024 x 768, 4xMSAA and high details, while a GT 240M ensured a refresh rate nearly triple with 35.6 fps. Also the HD 4650 has proven much faster with 33 fps.
Even the real-time strategy game World in Conflict has cornered the GT 130M. Details high, 2x AA 2x AF and a resolution of 1024 x 768 produced un'ingiocabile frequency of 15 fps. In his defense, we can say that the other competitors were put to the test. However, the HD 4650 made an even better figure in this case.
